Dr. John Arthur Cece is a fellowship trained and board eligible plastic and reconstructive surgeon with specialization in microvascular and aesthetic surgery. He received his Medical Doctorate at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed his integrated plastic surgery residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

After residency, Dr Cece pursued further training in New York City, where he
completed his Aesthetic Surgery and Microsurgical Breast Fellowship at the world-renowned Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital.

Dr Cece has a special interest in facial and breast aesthetic surgery. During his fellowship, he had the opportunity to train under many of the world’s leaders in rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty, breast augmentation, and body contouring. In addition to aesthetic surgery, Dr. Cece received extensive training in breast reconstruction. He performs all types of implant-based and free flap breast reconstruction including DIEP, SIEA, TUG, DUG, and PAP flaps. In addition, Dr. Cece offers DIEP flap neurotization, a new development in free flap breast reconstruction, which can provide protective sensation and an overall more natural feel to the reconstructed breast.

As a native of New Jersey, Dr. Cece is excited about the opportunity to return home and serve his local community. He firmly believes in building a partnership with his patients to deliver the most advanced and personalized care possible.
