ABOUT DR. VALERIE J. ABLAZA
One of America's Top Doctors
Dr. Valerie J. Ablaza is a partner and the Corporate Vice President of The Plastic Surgery Group. She is unique in her profession, noting that just one out of 10 plastic surgeons are women.
“I wanted to be a doctor so I could help people feel better. I wanted to be a plastic surgeon so I could repair people’s bodies, in ways big and small, not just to improve their looks, but to help them align their physical appearance with their internal perception of themselves. There’s nothing better than doing what I always wanted to do. I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve my patients, and I never take for granted the ability to change people’s lives for the better.”
Dr. Valerie Ablaza is board certified by The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. She is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Phi Beta Kappa and the Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society.
